K9 Officer Throws A Fit As He Refuses To Get In The Car, His Partner However Knows Exactly What To Do To Drive Motivation

The feeling of just giving up mid-week is quite a familiar one, this K9-officer is going through exactly the same thing, so we can surely empathize with him. Cassie Costin who lives in Maryland, captured this adorable moment all on the video of her husband, Officer Ryan Costin who is having a hard time motivating his partner to go to work in Glen Burnie on a nice April day.
The K9 Officer, Jango Fett works at the Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s office but he doesn’t seem to be in the mood to go to work this particular day, despite his partner’s constant attempts to motivate him.
Jango is known to be a highly motivated dog usually, but this particular Tuesday he seemed to be quite tired. After all, we all have our bad days now and then.

As Cassie is starting to get the impression that Ryan is about to give up his mission, the man gets another last idea that does the trick magically!
He kneels down and gives Jango a nice, slow belly rub- an action that seems to do the trick almost instantly. Jango gets up and is ready to go in no time! This video is proof that even the most hardworking beings need a break from time to time.

Solider Service Dog Reunited With The Inmate That Trained Him

Being in the military requires a lot of strength and mental power, people are separated from their loved ones, and return home with post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). People decide to cope with PTSD either via medication or therapy. A recent way of coping has involved the use of service dogs.
Sgt. Bill Campbell, a 47 year-old veteran received Pax as his service dog and his whole life changed afterward, he said, having a dog made life bearable again, they shared a strong bond.
Bill found out that the woman named Laurie Kellog was the dog’s trainer, and the dog had previously lived at Bedford Hills Correctional Facility and was taken care of by several female inmates of that facility, one being Laurie as well.

Laurie said that it was easy to train Pax for PTSD disorder as she too had suffered from PTSD before as well as years of domestic violence. When she found out that the dog was going to a soldier who had also suffered from PTSD, she was super thrilled.

Bill and the dog travelled to meet Laurie as she had made life better for Bill and the dog. It was a very special moment for the three of them to be together and needless to say the dog was super thrilled and recognized Laurie immediately. He ran up to her and gave her lots of hugs and kisses.

Duck Mum Swimming Around With Her 56 Ducklings

A super duck mum who strolls around with 56 ducklings was been seen in Lake Bemidji in Minnesota, a photographer Brenk Cizek, who was visiting the lake couple weeks ago in search for wildlife pictures, the sight shows a duck with all of her ducklings marching behind her in a perfect line. He said he had spotted something in the water that looked too feathery, after approaching he noticed a merganser (type of duck) going about her way with all of her babies. Ben said he was amazed at the number of babies it had.

The pictures were actually taken at a later date when he re-encountered them. And still, even though it looked like the mom was at her super-capacity of adoption, turned out that the over-extended family expanded even more.

Ben said that the mom now has about 76 ducklings. He believes that it is impossible for all the ducklings to be hers so Ben hypothesized that perhaps some of them were either orphaned or abandoned by their biological mothers. The super mom stepped in and decided to take them however.

The National Audubon Society has also approved that the merganser from the photo has probably picked up abandoned ducklings along the way who, having already imprinted on their mother, have no difficulty following a new duck around given the similar physical features between the biological and adopted mom.
Cizek was further amazed by the fact that the mother looked responsible. He caught her counting her ducklings from time to time as to make sure that they are all there. Cizek said that mother nature and its power amazes him, and he hopes that at least a handful of people will get to see this photo and witness just how amazing mother nature can be.

Amazing Drone Footage Shows Orcas Surrounding a Woman Swimming Off The Coast of New Zealand

Amazing footage captured a woman swimming in the ocean with 3 k1ller whales off the coast of Coromdandel in Hahei, New Zealand. Dylan Brayshaw, captured this amazing moment with his drone, on the video you can see Judie Johnson swimming as the orcas follow’s her, Johnson, who is in her 60s, was swimming alone when they approached and told 1 News Now that she initially thought she had come across a group of dolphins only to realize they were in fact killer whales.
“There was a shape that went under me, like a huge shape and I thought [it was] dolphins and I was quite excited, and then I saw the great white color on the back,” she said. Johnson initially felt scared when the orcas approached, deciding to exit the ocean. “I was also thinking, they eat seals and I’m in a black wetsuit,” she said.

Brayshaw said that he witnessed Johnson swimming towards the shore to escape the waters and was very surprised when she decided to go back into the ocean.
“The orcas circled her and she got quite the fright. She then got out the water as she was only 20m from shore. Some onlookers chatted to her about the experience and then to my surprise she got back into the water and swam back towards the pod, to, I assume, continue her training swim,” he said.

“I … launched the drone and filmed from a fair distance away making sure not to disturb the pod of orcas. What I witnessed was truly amazing” he said.

Simon Needham British wildlife photographer who took the stunning pictures, really want to raise awareness about the one and only problem that we are all fighting , the situation with wild animals , them becoming extinct. We really need to stop this, because these creatures are very beautiful, very rare and special to be in danger.
“Moya’s stunning coat blew me away the first time I saw it,” the Los Angeles-based photographer said. “Although it was quite difficult to get close to him, I had a few moments when he came close enough for me to get a few great shots as he walked his territory. When you are in the moment you don’t really get chance to appreciate the beauty of it all but obviously afterwards, I realized what lovely pictures we had.”

The pictures went viral all over the internet and I think that really made people think they should do something in this case. Simon also is trying to help the sanctuary which is doing the best to protect these incredible wild animals. They are helping them as much as they can, Moya is one of the lion’s they helped and are now protecting.

In the IUCN Red List, the African Lions are classified as a vulnerable species, with less than 40,000 individuals left in the wild. Even though, some sources indicate there are around 20,000 lions left in the wild.

Thankfully, places like Glen Garriff Conservation lion sanctuary aim “to love, protect and preserve the magnificent lions.” You can help them on their mission, here.

Stray Dog Who Befriended Purple Unicorn Finds a Forever Home

A 1-year-old stray Labrador mix named Sisu that went viral for stealing a purple stuffed unicorn from a North Carolina Dollar General store, has finally found a forever home. The employees at the store in in Kenansville called Duplin County Animal Control because the dog repeatedly entered the store and headed directly to the toy aisle and grabbed the stuffed animal.
Samantha Lane, an officer associated with Duplin County Animal Services, purchased the $10 stuffed animal for the dog, just so it could provide some comfort within the shelter.
“This is something [Lane has] always done,” Duplin County Animal Control Supervisor Joe Newburn told WCTI-TV. “This isn’t something new to her. It’s just a different dog. But yes, she’s always doing this stuff for the animals.”
On March 22, the shelter posted a Facebook image of Sisu with his toy, explaining his repeated theft attempts. The post achieved small-time virality.

“This is what happens when you break into the dollar general consistently to steal the purple unicorn that you layed claim to but then get animal control called to lock you up for your B & E and larceny,” the post began.
A person with North Carolina Lab Rescue, an organization that helps rehome Labrador dogs from high-kill shelters, ended up adopting Sisu.
Dollar General told the aforementioned TV station that it was “Paws-itively thrilled that Sisu is enjoying his new toy!”
The chain store showed its appreciation by donating pet food to Duplin County Animal Services and giving a “special thank you gift” to Officer Lane. It also donated a few extra purple unicorns to Sisu’s eventual adoptive family.

Newburn told People that he assumed that Sisu must’ve had a similar stuffed animal at his original home.
“I don’t know of any other reason why he would focus on the unicorn other than he had one at home,” Newburn said. “If the store had called and said he tore open dog food, that would make more sense, but not hunting for a purple unicorn.”

Rescued Puma Can’t be Released Into The Wild so he Lives as a Spoiled House Cat

A 90lb puma named Messi shares a one bead-room apartment with his owners Mariya and Aleksandr Dmitriev, the couple from Russia first spotted Messi-the puma at the Sarnsk Zoo in Penza when he was eight-months-old and they decided that they had to have him. The puma named Messi was one of three cougar cubs born at the zoo, the two other cubs were also named after famous players Suarez and Neymar. The wild cat was sold to the Saransk Zoo when he was three months old and suffered from health problems. Enamored with the sickly zoo animal the Dmitriev’s appealed to the owners and asked if they could buy him.

According to his wife Mariya, Aleksandr, 38, had always dreamed of owning a big cat, “He always thought about having a lynx – never a puma. It’s hard to explain but we believe that having this puma as a house cat is part of our destiny.”

“We had three days of thinking hard about whether it was moral to keep such an exotic pet, and whether it was common sense to have one. But nothing could fight our sudden wish,” Mariya, 28, told the Mirror. “So we went to the zoo and started negotiations to buy Messi. We were surprised ourselves when they agreed.”

The cat needed extra medical attention and care, “‘he was quite weak and demanded a lot of attention,” said Mariya. Even though the couple has nursed the cub back to health, he is still only two-thirds of the size of the average puma.
“He is like a dog. We started taking him for a walk, step by step. The animal hadn’t been really active before, Aleksandr said in an interview with RT, “Now we walk a lot twice a day, as it’s supposed to be. It doesn’t differ much from owning a dog in this sense.”

The couple found a dog training school he could attend and now responds to about 10 different commands.
“He convinced us with his behavior that he’s a full member of our family and that he wouldn’t be doing anything bad apart from some small naughty things. He’s very kind and likes contact. He gets on very well with people,” says Aleksandr.

The Cat Messi have over 1,5m followers on his @I_am_puma account and over 1.7m subscribers on his YouTube account.
“He is just an ordinary cat, but a big one. He has all the habits of a cat,” says Aleksandr.

The couple believes that he would not survive alongside other animals as he has never lived alone in the wild. “Of course it’s quite dangerous having such a large cat at home, but Messi is a special animal,” Mariya told the Mirror.
